Latest Read: The View from the Cheap Seats

I just finished up Neil Gaiman’s View from the Cheap Seats while on a trip and I have to say it was a wonderful companion. It is his collection of non-fiction such as his famous “Make Good Art” speech, articles he had written, even forwards to several books. The moods and subjects seemed to wonderfully match the varying topography as I traveled through the mountains with my wife.

Every story contains a splash of color, much like the fall trees I saw blurring by as my wife maniacally slung us around the narrow mountain passes, giggling all the way. It is worth your time to pick up and read, even if you aren’t taking a fall trip or careening off the side of a mountain. It’s just as good at home as it is on the road.
